NTR Global Remote Support will not connect through browser
Answer
NTR Global Remote support was unable to connect through a browser for remote support.
NTR can use several ports to connect listed below:
- 80
- 110
- 443
- 11438
- 21
You have to make sure that ISA Server is not blocking your selected port(s). I ran the ICW and added 11438 in the firewall section - a rule for both in and out. This created two rules in ISA which allowed connection to the server but was still blocking the workstations from connection.
I checked the rules:
11438 Incoming rule the TO section only had localhost selected - I added the Internal network
11438 Outgoing rule the FROM section only had localhost selected - I added the Internal network
The workstations will now connect.
