Covid-19 update

Covid-19 has impacted how businesses operate and we want to assure you that we’re still providing a full support service. We’re taking this crisis very seriously and we’ve made some changes to the way we work to keep our staff and clients safe.

Working from home:
In line with government advice, we set up all staff to work from home. However we are still operating from our offices with skeleton staff.

Communication:
We’re still operating our normal business hours – Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm and our on-call mobile is still covered.
We have a cloud phone system which means you can contact us on the usual telephone numbers no matter if our staff is working from the office or at home.
Should you require a meeting, we use and provide Microsoft Teams.

Offices:
Our offices are operational with skeleton staff. However, in the interest of providing controlled social distancing you may find our front door locked. If so please call the office – 01278 445727 and a staff member will assist you.

Field Service Operations:
As part of our support service we provide onsite support but we ask our clients to understand that we must act responsibly and minimise site visits for the sake of the community.

– Critical issues such as Server / Network support: We will attend site but we ask that the area we will be working in be vacated and that 2m social distancing is followed should you need to take us to the location.

– Non-critical issues such as computer/laptop faults: We will provide workshop repairs whereby the faulty item can either be delivered to our offices or an engineer will pickup the faulty item from site reception and then returning to site reception.
Once the item has been returned we may need to complete the repair remotely.

New hardware / installs:
We are still providing and installing new hardware but again with limited onsite access.
For example – computers and laptops. We will test and prepare the item in our workshop as normal installing required applications. We will deliver the item to site reception and at that point would ask you to connect to your network. Once the item is connected to your network we will connect remotely to complete the onsite setup and configuration.

Summary:
We are committed to maintaining our high levels of service during this time and continue to monitor the situation closely.
